Our Arts and Commerce College, Umbarthan is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. The College is established in 2012 and runs Bachelor's programs in Arts and Commerce disciplines. The present strength of the College students is 323. Umbarthan is a town place in Surgana taluka, the smallest tahsil of Nashik district in Maharashtra. It’s located at Maharashtra - Gujarat border and nearby it has Khandesh and North Maharashtra region. Umbarthan is a Gujarat - Maharashtra border line smallest but most important marketplace for the Adivasi community. It is located 120 KM towards North from District headquarters Nashik.

This is the motto of our college which means whatever good from the universe comes to us, we shall strive to disseminate it to all the people. The college is committed to serving for society, especially for disadvantaged, and enhancing the quality of life through excellence in academically and professionally skilled base education and training. The emphasis is on developing positive attitudes and values of discipline, dedication, and commitment amongst these tribal students having employability in the corporate sector or self-employment.

Provides equal opportunities for higher education in humanities and sciences to all. It aims to provide leadership in the harmonious development of student's intellectual and professional abilities in order to induct students into the advanced fields of thought and nourish their cultural, social, and emotional sensibilities. The policy of the college is to bring the tribal and marginalized communities into the mainstream of development and to create personnel of higher caliber and responsible persons.
